BPM is copyrighted freeware with no warranty; it may be installed on any number of computers and distributed freely. It requires installation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.8. The BPM distribution includes a free JRE for 64-bit Microsoft Windows. Since BPM uses Java, it will run on any 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows.

UPDATE: BPM has been updated to version 12-Apr-2026. New features are marked by [new] in the help; they pertain only to Web sites. To do the update, run bpm-installer.jar, or download bpm-update.zip into the BPM installation folder and extract it.
