Bluemont Photo Viewer Program

Bluemont Photo Viewer (BPV) is a free Java program for viewing the www.bluemontsw.com photo library, or albums created by the Bluemont Photo Manager (BPM) program. BPV provides advanced photo viewing features, such as searches and slideshows. For the www.bluemontsw.com photo library, BPV gives access to 3,000 full-sized photos in sixteen albums.

BPV is copyrighted freeware with no warranty; it may be installed on any number of computers and distributed freely. It requires installation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.8. The BPV distribution includes a free JRE for 64-bit Microsoft Windows. Since BPV uses Java, it will run on any 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows.

UPDATE: BPV has been updated to version 7-Jan-2026. (The currently-installed version is shown in the Messages Display when BPV starts.) This release fixes an installation problem. To do the update, run bpv-installer.jar.
