Bluemont Photo Viewer Program

Bluemont Photo Viewer (BPV) is a free Java program for viewing the www.bluemontsw.com photo collection in full resolution and with features such as searches and slideshows. BPV gives access to 3,000 full-resolution film photos in sixteen albums.

BPV is copyrighted freeware with no warranty; it may be installed on any number of computers and distributed freely. It requires installation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.8. The BPV distribution includes a free JRE for 64-bit Microsoft Windows. Since BPV uses Java, it will run on any 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows.

UPDATE 10/28/2026: Due to a server change, BPV stopped working. To fix the problem, do the following: (1) download the new BPV installer program (bpv-installer.jar) and copy it to your BPV installation folder, replacing the existing installer program; and (2) run the new installer program to install the new version of BPV.
