help Distribution

The help package distribution consists of the items listed below. There is no installation program.

Demonstration video
Reference document
Zip file help-distrib containing:

help.jar, a JAR containing all help classes

Package help.demo containing code and files to build a demonstration help tree, and program tree-viewer.jar to view a help tree.

To get started with help, see the reference document and help.demo code.

Update: help.jar was updated 2-Sep-2026. help-distrib should be downloaded and help.jar replaced. The names of two constants have changed, so code using help may need to be recompiled.
